My Story
I never expected to fall in love with The Rio Grande Valley, when I moved here from Houston, TX in 2016. Back then, I was working for a big corporate company that had me traveling all over The Valley, from South Padre Island, to Brownsville, to Harlingen, McAllen, Corpus, San Antonio, Laredo, even Eagle Pass and all places in between.
I fell in love with the fast-pace atmosphere of the city in McAllen, the rare wildlife along the border of Mexico in San Benito and Brownsville, and the chill-axing beach vibe of The Island. We really have the best of all worlds!
My passion is to help people find strength physically and mentally. So my husband, Andy, and I created the company Bold & Beyond. It’s our mission to help people be BOLD enough to escape their comfort zones, not only to experience the health benefits of well-being and fitness, but also to achieve life-mission goals BEYOND the gym.
I have always been on the go go go. Multiple jobs, volunteer work, and many hobbies. I understand feeling worn-out, tired, and mentally drained by the time work is over. That’s why we created Valley Girl Fitness: Mobile personal and small group training and fitness classes.

Also, WE COME TO YOU! No need for a gym. Wanna stay home? We gotchoo. Wanna catch some rays on a beautiful day? Why not? Let’s do it! All you need is enough space to stretch, hop, and lunge.
Our personal training classes and programs are designed for one-on-one exercise training. We help extend your flexibility, balance the body, and strengthen the core and major muscle groups for optimal physical and mental performance.
Our small group training sessions are an extension of the personal training, with 2 to 3 people. This allows couples, families, and/or a small group of friends to support each other on your health journey.
Personal Training and Small Group Training can be done in-home, at a public park, or the beach, depending on your preference.
Our small group fitness classes allow up to 5 people and are set to music. Here are the small group fitness class styles. You can mix it up or keep it all the same.

- Relax & Release: Release the stress of life through deep breathing and stretching. Relax the tense muscles in your body to get greater range of motion out of your joints. Duration: About 30 minutes.
- Steady & Strong: Prepare for a full body work out that focuses on balance and stability with an emphasis on the core. We’ll work on strengthening your feet, calves, thighs, and glutes in addition to incorporating upper body exercise. These exercises will help to prevent falls when you slip or trip and help build arm, shoulder, and upper back strength to increase bone density and prevent injury. Duration: About 30 minutes
Pump It Up Aerobics: This aerobics class is fun for everyone from beginner to advanced. You can make the exercise as easy or intense as you want. Just remember it’s meant to be fun and to get your body moving and blood pumping! Duration: About 45 minutes - HIIT It & Quit It: This High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) class is challenging but gets the job done in a short amount of time. This class is for intermediate to conditioned individuals. Try this over a lunch break or at the beach while you get your tan on. Duration: About 20 minutes
